Our clinic is equipped with the latest X-ray machines, allowing us to take clear dental images with less radiation exposure for our patients.
Panoramic X-ray (OPG)
Our panoramic X-ray machine sits in a dedicated room with graphite-reinforced walls to prevent unnecessary radiation exposure. A single panoramic image reveals bone abnormalities, fractures, cysts, impacted teeth, infections and tumours.
Periapical imaging
The everyday image of dentistry — a detailed view of one to three teeth, used in root canal procedures and to diagnose problems such as cysts or hidden decay.

Preparation
You remove jewellery or glasses and are given a protective apron when appropriate.
The image
You stay still for a few seconds while the image is taken.
On screen at once
The digital image appears immediately and the dentist explains it to you.

Digital dental X-rays use a very small dose. We only take them when they will change the decision about your treatment.

Tell us first. Routine X-rays are usually postponed, and only taken if truly necessary.
Can I get a copy of my X-ray?+
Yes, ask us and we will send you the digital image.
